The jQuery Catfish Plugin allows you to display Catfish adverts with one simple function call. Catfish adverts are adverts that appear in a seperate section to the content on a page. They attract the attention of the eye very easily when they slide in.

The content of the catfish can be anything you like. In the example on this page it isn simply a paragraph of text; however it's possible to include any sort of HTML inside the catfish including images, flash and videos.

The plugin is a few years old now but is still used in a variety of projects including the Catfish Ads advert network, Wordpress Catfish Ad Manager and PHP Letter.
